Global specialty insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint has appointed Nestor Lopez as its new chief technology officer. Previously, Lopez served as the chief information officer under the leadership of outgoing CTO Darryl Siry. Siry will be leaving the company after a transition period in June to pursue other opportunities.
SiriusPoint expressed gratitude for Siry’s contributions and wished him the best for the future. CEO Scott Egan commented on Siry’s departure, highlighting his successful leadership of the IT function and team.

Lopez joined SiriusPoint in 2022 and brings with him extensive experience in business transformation, accumulated over two decades of work at companies such as ProSight Specialty Insurance (now Coaction Specialty Insurance), CNA Insurance, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, and General Electric.
